I configured my updates into:
And sometimes - for 3-4 with NIS 18 and for one with NIS 19 yesterday - I saw that main NIS window tells me about 8 minutes ago (definition?) updates. That session is not listed in Sec. Hist., probably it always was only Pulse Updates. Why it is run if I not press on "Run LiveUpdate" link? Mystic? Than, this is mistic too, try with me:
Open Norton Settings, first section, last tab (and set up it how I did (no matter smart definitions parameter), press Apply button):
than turn off pulse updates
than turn off "Automatic LiveUpdate", and wow! mystic! pulse updates triggered itself into On mode.
Only after press Apply button it becomes Off again. What was self-triggered algorithm? May be cuse of that incorrect working of Pulse Updates switch I saw LiveUpdates from nowhere (not by me)?
See, that if than to switch "Automatic LiveUpdate" into On mode, than press Apply, "Pulse Updates" became "On".
Can be this (lack?) fixed? May be this is not cause of inconnect "Pulse Updates" setting switch, but if?
