I want to know the same thing, at the dutch site you can only download a trial for nis2008, but the website is promoting the 2009 version.
That's also true. You can only buy NIS 2009 download. At this time, there's no dutch trail. But that wasn't really my question. I want to know when the dutch online version (version provided by ISP) will be available for download. I've contacted my ISP about this before and they said that if they receive a new version of NIS, they will make it available for download immediately. So I guess so far they didn't receive a new version, because they are still providing NIS 2008.
Could anyone of the employees at symantec give a bit more information about when NIS 2009 online (dutch) will be made available?
I have contacted the Dutch helpdesk of Symantec, and there I was told that the Dutch trial version (which is always a complete version without a license) will be out this week… One more day to go… 
Since yesterday, the dutch trail version of NIS 2009 has been released. I hope the online version will soon follow.

I already tried that. But I don’t have a license number. I have a PIN-code. And this PIN only works with the online version of NIS. In fact, when I download the software from the site of Belgacom (still NIS 2008), it doesn’t ask me for a license key. When the software is installed, it launches my browser to activate the software. It only asks to give my system a name. When I’ve done that, it says that my service was succesfully activated. So I have to wait until Symantec releases the online version of NIS 2009. And I’m still wondering if this will take long or not.

Typically ISP release dates are dependent on the partner, not Symantec. Have you checked with Belgacom?

Could even be next year.
My ISP for examples delivers F-Secure. That's still v2007
