NIS 2009 - LiveUpdate Low Disk Warning

I have been getting the error message "LiveUpdate has encountered a low diskspace condition on one or more of your hard disks on your system.  LiveUpdate is unable to retrieve and installall available updates.  This can leaveyour system vulnerable.  It isrecommended that you free up disk space on your system so that LiveUpdate canprovide you with the best protection. Do you want to launch Windows DiskCleanup now?".

Thishappens every time I startup my laptop. It doesn't happen if I put activate the laptop after being in hibernatemode.

Ichecked NIS itself and the updates HAVE been applied (just in case I have runLiveUpdate manually at the end of the day and it runs fine, applying all theupdates available).

I runVista on my laptop with 4 GB of memory. The main drive has 150 GB with 68 GB available.  I have a second attached drive of 750 GB with632 GB available.  I have run the WindowsDisk Cleanup utility several times (just in case it resets any registry entry).

I havesearched for a solution but can't find anything (most of the posts I foundasked questions about how much disk space, etc. but never offered asolution).   I did find one "solution"that suggested deleting the registry entry “KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\ALUAlert" but I am not sure  should do it.

Thiserror message is mostly annoying but I would like to get rid of it.

Anyadvice would be greatly appreciated.
