I have an infected PC. Can't install NIS from the CD. I get a message saying d:\setup.exe is infected.
Tried to scan the PC from the NIS2009 media disk however rescue disk has outated definition files (08/2008). For some reason it won't go out and find the latest definition files even though my PC is connected to the Internet (hardwired to a netgear switch). Can someone help me figure out how to a. initiate an update prior to scan using rescue disk or b. is there a way to burn a new rescue disk w/ curent definition files or is there an option c?
