I had NIS 2008 with no issues on my Windows Vista SP1. Rather than renew I bought the downloaded version of NIS 2009. After installation I started getting Internet Explorer Error messages quite often: Runtime Error R6025 Pure virtual function call. I have my windows firewall turned off and have spysweeper WITHOUT ANTIVIRUS so I don’t think this is conflicting with NIS 2009. E-mailed a Norton tech they suggested cleaning windows temp file which I did but still got the error. They also stated the software may be corrupt and I should uninstall with Norton removal tool then redownload and install NIS 2009. Don’t know if this is worth all the trouble here. I’m thinking of trying a system restore to an earlier date when I had NIS 2008 rather than deal with all the trouble NIS 2009 has provided. Any one else having this issue with NIS 2009? I’ve heard of some system freeze ups when booting up with NIS 2009 but this doesn’t seem to be my case. Only getting the Runtime error.
