NIS2009 has slowed down my system quite a bit. First of all, it takes good two minutes to open the inbox in windows mail after it has scanned the incoming messages. It also slows down to load new mail window. Also, it has slowed down loading several programs. Is there a settings in norton to overcome this problem. I am operating Vista home premium 32 bit. After posting this message, I am going to remove NIS2009 and install NIS2010 and see if it makes any difference. Previously I tried it but it slowed down the system to a much greater extent. It had slowed down stsrtup to about 10 minutes. I hope to receive help on this issue. I will wait a couple of days and if no response is received, I will completely remove Norton from my system and go back to AVG full version - the licence is still valid.
