Please be patient. One thing at a time. Besides that it depends on the country you live as well
Yep - I still have 17 days to run on 360 and just want to get it in stock
Just now wondering if anyone has successfully 'upgraded' from 360 to NIS2009 ? Or is it definately full retail for me ?
Just uninstall N360 first and than install NIS2009 and you will be fine
Thanks for the reply but ......
There are 2 versions available:
NIS2009 1 User 3 PC full retail at circa £50 or the similar 'Upgrade' version at Circa £40.
If I buy the 'upgrade' version do I qualify and will it install and validate or do I have to buy the full retail version now that I have changed to 360 ?
According to my online account at Norton I have:
NIS 2005 - Expired
NIS 2006 - Expired
NIS 2007 - Expired
360 - valid till 14th October 2008
Thanks
I’m not sure. A employee would have to tell you that. I believe that you could only upgrade from v206 till v2008 but not N360
I'm thinking to go full retail this time to be safe.
Ta
I agree with you Kremmen. In general, recent Symantec policy for upgrades (in terms of discounts) appears to have been only within the product families.
On the other hand, installations may follow the old pattern. As long as you are not trying to pick up a previous key, the discount you get at purchase does not have an impact on the product you buy. That is, once you have the software in hand, it will install as normal retail.
