NIS 2010 versus New Rootkit Technology

New rootkit technology has been discussed in several threads.  The idea that these rootkits can remain hidden from most scans makes me feel vulnerable.  It would be helpful if this topic could be discussed in a single thread.  I'm looking for answers to the following questions:

1. Can NIS 2010 block these new rootkits from installing?

2. Can NIS 2010 detect these new rootkits once they have installed?

3. Can NIS 2010 remove these new rootkits once they have been installed?

4. If the answer to any of the above is no, when will it be changed to yes?
