Again Today, After 20 minutes Live update updated Virus Def. But can't Live update Activity map Any body else.....Gorpy1

It is indeed very slow again right now.
I had a strange experience. In tamper protection, Norton was blocking itself from writing to the registry and to the file system. I wasn't updated for 4 hours! Restarted and all is good (it download a web protection hub but I have no idea what it is).
It also says that definition file 8/21/2011 rev. 3 is available on http://us.norton.com/security_response/definitions.jsp , but LiveUpdate isn't seeing it.
Never mind, a minute later it was there lol

LOL, I was just going to say I saw it come down via Live Update then saw your edit.

Hi ThuWin I may be wrong, but I believe you need the web protection hub before the web protection updates will update, It may be some type of control needed for the web protections, Again I've needed the web protection hub before the web protestions will update properly...Hope I'm right and I hope this helps., the Guru's always knows what's best, Thanks......Gorpy1
