I have NIS 2011 installed on 3 machines, with valid long term subscriptions. One desktop is Windows XP and other two machines are laptops with Windows 7.
Live update stopped working on one machine i.e my desktop about 7 days
When I click on Norton liveUpdates it shows
Norton liveupdates completed
Protection updates: fix now in progress then it shows "not fixed" and it also shows
"Your computer at risk"
Please advise, what to do to resolve this problem.
Thanks and regards,
Navneet
Hi There !
What you can do in this situation is. You can download inteligent updater click on this link and it would take u to the page where you would be able to download.
>This is a patch file which would have all the recent updates
>Download the file to your desktop and run it.
This would be a fix
Or else keep us posted

If this recurs often it could indicate that your CMOS battery, which provides power to maintain the system time when your computer is shut down, could be failing and in need of replacement.
For some reason too, the date and time was off on my PC. It has never changed in years up intil just recently. This is why the updated would not work. Strange that this happened.
Is this a new kinda virus? Very strange indeed.
Same issue I had too, very very strange but that took care of it.
Thanks a bunch!
