This is a new one! I noticed that my laptop had not started the normal Friday night scheduled full scan. I opened it up and verified that it was still scheduled. It was so I tried to add 10 mins to the current time. . But when I attempted to get out of the scheduling area it asked for my password and a verification of that password. I took the "OK selection" and it gave me the following error: "0x8007052F Login Blah, Blah, Blah". I have never password protected my NIS. It is just me and my wife and I trust her. So armed with that failure I moved on to my lap desktop and it was running as scheduled. I played around with it and it still ran a scheduled scan. I have been reading about the new version release of NIS 2011 and that it had been recalled. I thought that maybe the new release and recall caused my issue. Shut both down and went out to a New Years party.
This is where it gets weird. This morning I thought I would check to see if the updated had been posted. It hasn't. The weird part is now the desk top is doing the same thing that the laptop is doing. Any clues.
