NIS 2012 A/V affecting server access

I'm hoping this is an easy fix.  I recently installed NIS 2012 on a Win XP machine that is accessing a server (workstation) running Win 7.  After the installation, I started experience issues opening files on the network share.  I can browse the share but I am unable to open the files.  I receive an error message that the file cannot be found.  When I go into the advanced settings for NIS and disable the A/V module, I am then able to open the files without issue.  In an attempt to fix this, I have gone into the Network Map settings and setup Full trust with the server IP, re-enabled the A/V module without any luck.  Does anyone have a solution for this one?
