I am unable to access HELP or GET SUPPORT from NIS 2012 home page (or from any other page that offers help as a clickable item)..
Just discovered- On the NIS home page, clicking on either "Feedback" or "Account" has no effect.
Clicking on "Support" produces a pull-down menu listing among other things "Help" and "Get Support".
Clicking on "Help" has no effect. Even waiting for 30 seconds and clicking again has no effect.
Clicking on "Get Support" has no effect. After waiting 30 seconds for something to happen, a second click brings up "Norton Autofix" which performs a "scan" and then announces "Scan complete. We did not find any issues with Norton Internet Security". It includes a clickable button "Open Support Web Site". Clicking this button has no effect.
Clearly "Norton Autofix" doesn't solve the problem. I guess an incomplete or incorrect response is barely better than no response at all.
From what I have seen so far, the "Norton Customer Support" feature has proven to be extremely ineffective to the point of being virtually useless.
I think you have a browser problem. Please open Internet Explorer.
Go to Tools> Internet Options
On top, click the Tab that says "Programs". in the middle section click the box that says default browser.
Close Internet Explorer, open NIS and try again.
If it works now, you can try changing your default browser if you prefer to use something else.

Have you tried rebooting your computer?
