NIS 2012 causing blue screens

Check out the thread here: http://www.pchelpforum.com/win-7-vista-bsod/128363-windows-startup-dimming-blue-screen.html

After scanning for malware and cleaning up my system, the members at pchelpforum.com have come to the conclusion based on the dump files I provided that Norton is causing my computer to have blue screens, mostly during gaming but at other times just while online. Throughout the thread I posted many blue screen dump files if any one wants to check them out. You will need to register to download the files I posted, but the error is often "KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M" where SYMEVENT.SYS is the probable cause of the blue screen.

I have reinstalled Norton and still have seen a blue screen due to Norton since then. Madmonkey states in the most recent post of the thread that he has seen a lot of Symantec and Norton related problems recently. This means it isn't just me, but a product update for Norton 2012 caused widespread problems.

My OS is Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit SP2, my product is Norton Internet Security 2012. Hopefully Symantec can take a look at this.
