I had NIS 2011 installed and went to upgrade to NIS 2012. The download failed and an error screen invited me to download NPE.exe to fix it. Not only did this fail to fix the problem it took me round in circles through restart and windows safe mode and along the way screwed up my internet connection.
I finally went to system restore which has restored everything except NIS 2011, now when I go to the upgrade site AutoDetect tells me it can't find a norton product to upgrade!
I won't even start to tell you my views on the virtual help facility.
This is like going back a decade. Is there anyone out there who can help as Norton appears to be abdicating from its support responsibilites.
