My network security map is showing all of my network devices, but they are all showing as offline when they are all on line. I have tried to purge the network map but still have the same result. Also changing the network security level has no effect.
Yes, all of the devices are powered up but its showing them as being off line. I think this issue is because of a recent NIS2012 update. The reason i know i recieved one is there is a NIS2012 shortcut on my desktop which I always delete after i do the install.

Hi,
We're having a different experience here. I've updated and my security map reflects the state of my network. All devices listed and the wireless ones with dotted lines. Other than confirming that you have rebooted since the update I'm not sure what would be the best action for you to take. If there are any other unusual incidents with the updated program I'd recommend that you run the Norton Remove and Reinstall Tool found here:
http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20110217171332EN
This assumes that you have run live update until the program tells you that all updates have been downloaded and installed.
Keep us in the loop
Hi,
I had the same thing on my localized (dutch) version. I solved it by doing the following:
click support
click obtain support and the prog will check the installation completely. In my case it found 1 mistake which it auto corrected and the prob was solved. Unlucky enough I do not know what the mistake was but dont find it important any more since it now seems to work as it should.
Pls let us know your experiences on this
Ok i took the removal and fresh install route and it worked fine. I wasnt aware of the "Support Check" option, next time i will take that route first. Thank you for you responses guys.
