My existing NIS license has 49 days left to expiration. Today I purchased a 1-year renewal and registered and activated the new product key. My subscription status now says that I have 366 days remaining. Since I had 49 days remaining on the old product key, I should have 415 days remaining. How do I reclaim the 49 days that got lost?
you activated it and it overwrites the old subscription it happend to me

That is true, however Chat Support were able to add the extra days to my subscription when I had a similar problem.
Thanks.
Thanks to all for the helpful suggestions. I chatted with Norton tech support, and they quickly corrected the problem and extended my subscription to the correct expiration date. Excellent tech support!
