Could anyone help on how to block httpS://www.facebook.com/ using firewall. I tried Smart Firewall -> Advanced Settings -> General Rules -> Configure -> Add (a rule that BOLCK https://www.facebook.com/,etc...) But it does NOT work. Thanks!
Hey
Try this and see if it works for you.
Go to the specific rule you have created to block facebook on your computer, go the the section thier you choose what protocol to block, you can also see a diffrent choice, thier you can choose what ports you want to block. Block these two ports this specific rule, the ports are 80, 443.
It should work for you.
Block Inbound/Outbound traffic for the rule you have created for this use.
Good Luck

Tried, but none of these two is working. Thanks any other suggesitons?

What Operating System are you using? If it is Windows 8, then another user has also reported problems with a Norton 2013 product's Firewall failure to block sites:
If you are not using Windows 8, then follow the instructions in that post to create a blocking rule for Facebook. When complete, reboot the computer and test to see if Facebook is being blocked.
Another approach you could consider in terms of blocking access to Facebook may be to use Norton's Parental Controls feature.
In the Hosts File entry, use 127.0.0.1 as the Facebook.com address. It should look like:
127.0.0.1 www.facebook.com
