I have had NIS for years but upgrading to NIS 2014 has made my IE 11 almost unusable. It starts out working fine after a startup or startover, but deteriorates as I try to move from site to site or within a site. Fox news is an example. After looking at about 2-3 articles, it starts taking longer and longer to change to a new article. I get a blank page and an indicator saying "Waiting for Foxnews.com".
After a while, it will hang for minutes and I have to execute a Startover, which will clear up the problem. It started Immediately after installing NIS2014. Any suggestions as to what settings on NIS would stop this?
I did run the Norton check on the Install and it said that it was OK.
Thanks dond13. The default settings of IE11 will not allow any toolbars or addons to be active ( by Enhanced Protection Mode). So its a narrow chance that norton would be causing the hanging. In Order to clear further suspicions on norton will you please do a reinstall of NIS using nrnr(norton remove and reinstall tool) or nrt(norton removal tool).

Thanks Nikhil_CV. I appreciate the suggestion. I did as you suggested and so far, it looks as if that might have done it. I haven't gone through as thouough a session on the Internet as usual, but i will and if it looks like it is completely resolved, I'll get back to the thread and advise
Thanks again,

Oh yes, I am an old fart, 81 years old and having a problem reading the Word Verification words required. I have to go through the procedure 4-5 times or more before I get it right. Is there some way to bypass having to do that EVERY time I make a post? My eyes aren't quite as good as they were when I was 75 or s0.
