Can anyone see the toggle between full and smart definitions in the 2014 version? Can’t seem to find it. Bet 2014 just uses smart definitions.
In version 21, the full definition set is no longer available:

I completely agree with Bombastus.
Functionality cannot be compromised for the sake of speed. While I do agree that the 2014 version takes into account cloud scanning to do away with the full set of virus definitions, most people in developing and emerging economies do not have constant access to the internet and generally rely on the offline definitions which are updated weekly or monthly from their side.
