So I can't activate the NIS 360 that I just bought.... Does anyone know why? I have 1 day left on my old subscription- but that should not matter....
If you have 360 installed you just need to click on Renew on the main 360 interface. Then click on I Have a Key or Code. Enter the product key you received with your new purchase and you should be good for another year.
If this does not work use the support chat suggested by Yank.
Solved: Even with 1 day remaining & because I had the 360 Premier Edition on my computer, when I purchased the 360 Standard edition, it would not let me activate it because of the difference in the 2 products. To resolve this I had to first uninstall NIS 360 Premier Edition,(& opting to 'keep my settings' when u go to uninstall it) then once it was gone, the "norton download manager' was able to now open & activate the NIS 360 Standard Edition that I had just purchased that day. It did also add the one day that I had left to the 365 day subscription. All is good now.
This is an example of us not being able to see your computer. If we had seen the Premier edition on your computer and the Standard version you purchased this time we would have been able to steer you to the solution.
Remember, you will no longer have the 25GB online storage, but will be bumped down to 2GB.
Glad you got it sorted - hopefully others can learn to provide such details as edition. we do ask a lot of questions and it appears in this case - we never asked for the edition, nor was the edition info offered.
