I'm having a problem where NIS doesn't always load when the machine is powered up. It seems to work fine for weeks then suddenly I'll notice NIS hasn't loaded. Sometimes it takes several restarts to get it to load. Once loaded it all works fine. No on screen errors are generated. I had the problem today and this time I captured some of the system event log. As usual my rebooting a few times seems to have cured the problem but here are the system log entries anyway...
The version number of NIS is 16.5.0.134 with live update enabled. I'm running WinXP.
