The problem holds. I have even tried all fix tools, reinstalled norton, and no effect.

Did you use the Norton Removal Tool when you reinstalled the program?

hi hotamart - try running luall from the Start / Run command line - this may help provide an error message that will help identify the problem. if the article on the other end of the error doesn't work, try running AutoFix, accessible through the Help & Support link in the main program. finally, if all else fails, try the tool listed in this document:

i've seen it resolve problems in situations where definitions were out of date but the program reported that no updates were available.

First, hello friends!

I have a problem. No updates that are being downloaded with liveupdate are able to install. What solution can you offer?

You can go to Control Panel, find LiveUpdate, then go to “Update Cache”, and “Remove all files from cache”. Restart your PC and run LiveUpdate again. You can also try to reinstall LiveUpdate, download the latest version: How to download and install LiveUpdate.
