NIS outgoing email scan blocks legitimate email sent from LSI MegaRAID Storage Manager

Hi,

 

I am using LSI's MegaRAID Storage Manager (MSM) 11.12.01.01 java app to monitor a RAID volume.

The OS is Windows 7 x64.

The pc that runs MSM also has NIS 19.6.2.10 installed.

 

MSM is unable to send email alerts while NIS email outgoing scan is enabled.

If I go to Settings->Network->Message Protection->Email Antivirus Scan and disable the

Scan Outgoing Email Messages option then MSM is able to successfully send email alerts.

 

Is it possible to allow MSM to function correctly and still have NIS scan outgoing email?
