NIS run out 5 months into subscription.

I have been using Norton for some years and always purchase the boxed CD online but not directly from Symantic. The purchase is always for 3 PC's and this has worked great until now.

 

Suddenly last week I had notification that my subscription had run out, just five months in. Concerned that I was without cover I installed free Microsoft Security essentials and then attempted to uninstall and reinstall Norton and was unable to.

 

Next stop was to check the other two computers, both were updating and running fine. I was able to check my subscription and found I had 220 days left.

 

I am running windows 7 professional on the problem PC plus Vista on my laptop and XP on my 3rd PC.

I had a recomendation from Norton to renew online at a brilliant price covering all three of my pc's. Ever cautious I was a suspicious and didn't. I have also had two or three popups from Norton that I have wondered about.

 

Any suggestions would be helpful.
