I've noticed that all Windows 8.1 systems (both 64 and 32 bit) that I upgraded from NIS v20 to v21 have lost some of their Start screen "Live Tile" update/info display functionality - The Microsoft Weather App Tile being one of these. Uninstalling v21 restores these tiles "Live updating / Live Display" functionality.
I assume this problem is being caused by v21's default firewall rule set. The systems in question have no rule set augmentations or alterations from the basic supplied defaults.
FWIW; Reinstalling NIS v20 retains these Apps full "Live Tile" functionality.

Thanks for the suggestion but yes - Updated, Rebooted, Full shutdown (in case of a fast start related problem) - all that...
Seeing the issue on both a Win8.1-32bit and Win8.1-64bit system.
And as previously stated, uninstall v21 and the problem goes away. Reinstall v21 and the problem comes back. Revert to v20 and the problem goes away. Exact same results on both systems.
