The Network Security Map only displays the laptop from which I am viewing the map. It does not pick-up other items on my network: another computer, directv box, iPhone, printer. It had no problem picking up all items before I recently installed a newly purchased copy of NIS 2010 (I was using 2010, but the subscription was running out).
I've uninstalled ALL Norton products using the Norton Removal Tool and reinstalled NIS2010. Still no luck in the application generating a network map. After 2 hours "chatting" with tech support, they offered no solution and advised me to add the devices manually. This defeats the purpose of the map which is to see what devices are on your network at any time. I want to see if devices I don't want on my network are there.
Any suggestions as to what would be preventing Network Security Map from finding those other devices?
