I haven't had this happen to me but I have Tracking Cookies Scan set to Ignore under Computer settings ..... ?

I've been using IE 10 and 11 for Windows 7 for some time.

You aren't running CCleaner are you because that does clean log in and other cookies unless you set the Intelligent Scan to ON and if necessary move over those you know you want to keep -- I don't know if the "Intelligent" means it does it automatically moves to save them when you log in manually to a site and only deletes ones not set by you .....

I had been advised that my problem could be corrected by changing settings under "Content" for IE11, ticking the sections under "Auto-Complete" for forms.....

However this did not work!

I'm sincerely hoping that Norton can solved this problem in the near future....

Thank you for your advice, it was very helpful!!

I think that advice was completely wrong, as you may have found! That AutoComplete automatically fills in User ID and Password when you reach a website (not htpps secure) that asks for your ID and a password, like my community library.

Thanks for pointing me to this since I wondered what had changed when I found the log in screen already complete including the password! Since my computer is secure both from its location, access and security applications I'm happy with this for nonsensitive sites.

I think what you want is contained in this Microsoft article:

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/block-or-allow-cookies

which as you will see applies to Windows 7 and 8 as well.

So check your security settings on that TAB ...

I hope that is it.

Thank you all for your very kind advice about curing my problem, but what I have found out, is that this problem ONLY happens when Norton IS runs in the background automatically, or if I request a "Quick" or Full system scan....  It wipes the log in details for Microsoft Outlook.com and also for other various email accounts....

Any other ideas people???

Many Thanks
