This may seem a little obvious, but have you reboot the NIS PCs after configuring your trust setting? The reason that I ask is because a lot of the NetBios configuration gets done during system startup, which would’ve been blocked by NIS. You might also simply try to “Repair” your network connection.
I have rebooted and repaired the network connection. No luck.
I'm not sure that I have any further help for you. Perhaps somebody else can make some suggestions. The following thread had the same issue and he had to take some additional steps:
