I'm using IE9 32 bits browser on Windows 7 Ultimate 64bits. But I don't have the option to enable and disable Safe Search in the toolbar. When I click right or left on the name "Norton" I see the usual stuff and I only can enable or disable Safeweb.
I checked in NIS2011/12 the settings to enable or disable it, but no options there.
I went to IE9 settings: add-ons. I have three things that all are enabled:
- Norton Toolbar
- Symantec NCO BHO
- Symantec Intrusion Prevention
I first thought it's maybe an unsupported language problem. So unistalled my Dutch version and installed a English version. But no success either.
Checked on Google for possible answers, most of the results leading me again back to this forum, where more people having the same problem. Checked the topics, saw some topics where Admins gave answers Nothing works, because the enable and disable is simply not there.
I also check the Index help (Dutch & English) from Norton, saying there shoud be this option but I can't see it. Removed Norton couple of times now. With the removaltool and manualy.
This is very strange and also that I'm not the only seeing the enable/disable options.
