No activity log

I seem to be having the same problem as many others. I am getting no logs or alerts from Norton Family. When I log on to the website it just says no activity, when I know my daughter has been on. The actual program does seem to be working though. I have tried to access a forbidden site, and it came up with the little dog saying forbidden.

 

What can I do to get hold of the activity logs? I need some reassurance that it is working properly. The browser is Google Chrome.

I am having the same exact problem.  I know my daughter is using her android phone.  I can see some of the activity on my cell phone company's website but Norton Family is just saying "No updates".  No activity since 9 a.m.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Even with trying to access a blocked webpage does not trigger anything on the activity summary. I've just looked again, I know she was online yesterday evening, and it still says there is no activity for the past 7 days. I would consider buying a premium membership but not if I can't access the information.

 

Her computer is a Dell, she is logging on as herself, and the popup comes up saying this user is monitored. Indeed the monitoring seems to be working, but it is just not translating back for me to see. Her operating system is Vista Business (that's what came with the laptop!)

I am having the same problem also. For about the last week, I have no logs on my account, even though I know the child has been using the computer (and accessing clearly inappropriate web sites!). There are no time reports, the activity page shows zero hours of computer use, etc. I checked, and nf.exe is running under the child's account. I have restarted the computer multiple times and it's still behaving the same way.

Same here, no activity log.

 

There may be a related problem, I'm not sure yet. On some PC's that have had Norton Family installed and running for awhile, Norton Family up and decides that it hasn't been initialized yet. There's a red X in the taskbar icon, as though it were just installed and you didn't Edit Accounts yet. I've seen this on about 10 PC's already, and one of them is on this account (I'll PM you the account). And also, coincidently, no activity log, even now, after I went ahead and reentered the account to get rid of the red X.

Can you please let us know what version of Norton Family is running on the computer?

 

When you said " ...Inappropriate web sites..." can you please explain how you know the child is attempted to visit the websites?  Did you see the websites on the logs?  If so, are they in red indicating they are blocked?
