Issue abstract:
No links anywhere to download Norton Family from My Subscriptions
Detailed description:
I have looked everywhere and checked every Norton Support article I can find, I cannot find a place to download my Norton Family subscription for a new computer. The “My Subscriptions” page lists my subscription, but only gives me an option to copy the Product Key. All the help articles say to go to that page and click the “share or download” link but there isn’t one.
Product & version number: Norton Family
OS details: Windows 11
What is the error message you are seeing?

Hello @TylerV_Jones
Welcome to the Norton Community!
The reason you cannot find a download link under My Subscriptions is that Norton Family is not installed like a standard standalone Norton security suite; you must download Norton Family through the Norton Parental Control Portal or the “Add Device” flow within your child’s profile .
Because Norton Family operates per child profile rather than per traditional seat license, the main subscription page only manages the license key.
Step-by-Step Installation on the New Computer
Option 1: Download Directly from the New Computer (Easiest)
Open a browser on the new computer and navigate to the Norton Family Portal (or sign in at the My Norton Portal and click Parental Control ).
Sign in using your parent Norton account email and password.
Click on the Child’s profile that will be using this computer.
Click Add Device .
Select Windows , then click Next .
When prompted if this is the device you want to add, select Yes and click Download Norton Family App .
Run the downloaded installer (NortonFamily.exe).
Follow the on-screen prompts to accept the agreement, sign in with your parent account when prompted, and map the installation to the specific Windows user account your child logs into.
Option 2: Send the Download Link from Your Current Device
Sign in to your portal via Norton Family on your own device.
Select the Child’s profile and click Add Device .
Choose Windows and click Next .
Select “No, click Send an Email Download Link, and then enter an email address to send a download link in an email.” as outlined by Norton Support .
Open that email on the child’s new computer, click the link, and proceed with the installation.
(Note: If the new PC is running Windows in S Mode , you will need to switch out of S Mode first, as Norton Family’s background supervision drivers cannot run under S Mode restrictions)
