No Identity safe profile found for this user ?

Hi there,

 

Today I went online as normal, with chrome, got a message saying norton confidential had crashed.  This happened 3 times upon restarting chrome, so I restarted my pc and tried again, everything seemed normal.  I then went to log into Identity Safe and it told me it was unable to connect due to internet connection issues  - of which there were none at all.

 

So I left it for a while and tried again, it then let me log in but told me there wa no profile found for this user.  So after trying the online help tool I was advised to upgrade to the latest version of NIS, which I did. 

 

Now when I try there is no Identity safe button there is the open vault button, which when I click it I am prompted to log into my norton account.  I do this ok, then I am asked for an online vault password  - something I havent set up yet, so I tried my identity safe password - this doesn't work.

 

How can I log ionto this thing to access my data if it sets up a password without me actualy doing it ?

 

Also if i reset that password I will lose all my data - whats the point in reseting a password to access your data if you lose it ?
