Bought NOBU to protect my data. My harddrive failed. Put a new one in and reloaded the necessary software. Tried to download files from NOBU but nothing. It appears you cannot download replacement software on your previous computer. It has to be done as a new computer. Then you can't use restore as it is not recognized as the same computer.
Phone help spent an hour (while I was on the phone) unsuccessfully. Then his supervisor spent 2 more hours ringing me on occassion for information. Finally he tried putting New in front of the logo. Told me it was fixed and to leave it overnight. It says it downloaded 27% but in actual fact the folder is empty. Used a good chunk of my download quota to do what?
I am desperately trying to get my outlook.pst file.
The staff are great to deal with but the product is pathetic. Who would design a backup software that doesn't have the option to be re-installed onto the original computer? Buyer beware.
