After updating my iPhone and iPad to iOS 26, I can’t lock my child’s iPhone or iPad even after using the instant lock feature in the parent app.
This was perfectly normal before iOS 18.
Parent’s phone: iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 26.
Child’s phone: iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 26.
Child’s tablet: iPad mini 5, iOS 26.
Hi @Leung_KK ,
From our backend analysis, we could see the device is able to receive commands even after updates to latest iOS 26 and we suspect the iOS version is not the issue.
Could you try reinstalling MDM Profile, if the issue still persists? Please follow this help link for the same.
Note: You need to remove the existing profile before installation.
We have sent you a private message requesting additional details for troubleshooting. Kindly check and share them via private message.
Thanks,

Hello, I’ve repeated the steps you provided several times, but the issue hasn’t been resolved. “Instant Lock” still doesn’t work. Other functions work fine, however.
I really don’t understand why two of my five devices, both running iOS 26, are inoperable, while the other three, which are not, work fine.
Hi @Leung_KK ,
Thanks for reporting this issue for iOS 26 and sorry for the inconvenience caused. We have identified and provided fix for this issue in backend .
Please try “Instant Lock” and let us know if it is working.

I have tested it and the lock function can be used normally on iOS26 or earlier versions.
Thank you very much for your reply and help. Now it can be locked successfully.
