Im usually good with this sort of stuff but im stumped.
I have installed and uninstalled norton 2012 four times now. each time i try and instal it it says complete and lets me browse through the settings etc.. then after 5 min (if that) it closes itself and then won't reopen. when it does it comes up with an autofix program - isn't able to fix itself then gives me the "8504. 101" error. I have checked windows firewall is disabled. i have never had an antivirus on this pc before hand (clean windows install)
oh and my internet becomes disabled though i'm wired in -only way i seem to be able to get the net back is by completely wiping norton off!
Bit confused- I have tried downloding the installer and re-downloading that way too!
I am running xp pro sp2
