Norton 26.2. keeps crashing

I’m pretty sure that everything was fine yesterday but today Norton keeps crashing:

fwiw ~ yesterday, as I recall.
I had a Norton update requiring machine Restart (not Shut down)
My Norton 360 remains at 26.2.10802 (build 26.2.10802.970)

It looks pretty similar to the error report in comment 349 of the “tracking thread for the new version 25.xx” (just a year later, can’t link it for some reason) and my browser is indeed open.

I already restarted my PC multiple times and reinstalled Norton with the “Norton Remove and Reinstall“ tool.

Did you try Norton 360 Remover → Remove only?
