I agree, it is not fixed.

If I log on and log off quickly it is fine. If I log on and leave it up for awhile it is still having the same problem.

I agree

I've kept up with Norton 360. I have the latest updates - 2.4.0.4

And yet I continue to get the ccSvcHst error on shutdown. The only way to close is to click on the "End Program" button and let is shut down.

I have Windows XP SP3

It would be nice if this could finally be resolved

BTW, I would be more than willing to do a full delete and reinstall if you think that would work and I won’t have problems with downloading it again.  I do have my 360 on the three permitted computers and I don’t was customer service problems if I do reinstall.

The best way to solve the shutdown issue is to either run this tool, or manually by following Step 1 in this workaround.

Let us know if this helps. Thanks

Johna:

I will test it later today and will get back to you.  I will try the registry edit fix first.

Johna.  I made the change to the registry and the problem seems to be resolved, at least as of now.  I'll post here again if a problem develops.
