Norton 360 2013 on Server 2012 Essentials does not run properly

I am using Windows Server 2012 Essentials as an upgrade to Windows Home Server 2011 as is advised by the Microsoft product pipeline.  I am running a home office but as part of the upgrade to Windows 8 I would like my server technology to be of a similar architecture and use some more of the built in functionality.  Norton 360 appeared to install correctly (by connecting to a remote deskop connection from my laptop.).  All the services seem to be running, the app tile is visible on the Start screen but it does not launch.  I have not found a way to launch the GUI.

 

Please can you advise.

OK it was working properly for a while there but I want to remove it but using the Norton Removal Tool and it won't work and I can't uninstall from Control Panel either.  Can you help please?

As End Point is an Enterprise product, you might get better responses from the Enterprise Support Community.

May I know what happens when you try to run the Norton Removal tool?

Are you getting any error messages?

What happens when you try to uninstall via Control Panel?

Did you try uninstalling via Safe Mode?
