Norton 360 Access Denied

I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 back in September.  Norton 360 came along for the ride with no problems.  Eventually my Start menu went away (a common problem with Windows 10!) and I had to add a new user account to my PC in order to resolve it.  Now I can't operate Norton 360 from my new primary user account, getting the message "Access Denied  You need to be an Administrator to perform this action".  This new user account has administrator privileges, but apparently insufficient for Norton 360.  I tried uninstalling Norton 360 and reinstalling, but to no avail.  I want to be able to do an unscheduled backup, run a virus scan, etc. from the new primary account.  Any ideas?
