Norton 360 "active" but can't connect to server

Hello, it's been a week since I have been having problems one right after the other since the download of Norton 360 on to Windows 10. Now, I can't connect to the server to activate my subscription. On the website norton.com, my subscription is active and ready to go. On top of that, I am getting notices that I am at risk. The first problem was the app to "upgrade" was not even opening when I clicked on it (and other methods of opening a program).  I re-installed the program, yes, the nrnrn (whatever) program from the Norton website. It loaded but crashed and froze up my computer. So I repeated the "process" again. Then the program claimed there was Norton still on my computer so I couldn't download the program. I searched for days and I could not find anything. Another lovely program was used to detect additional programs and stated there wasn't another app or that it couldn't find Norton on my system. 3 hours on the phone with an agent that did the same thing over and over and over and over. In the end, he told me to call some number of Symantec and it was the wrong number. I called Norton again the next day and the same thing... download, uninstall, reinstall, uninstall, reinstall.... over and over after three hours of me telling the agent I already I have done that. She told me a tech was going to call me back and never did. The last phone call was another three-hour conversation, that was no different. She kept me on hold almost the whole time and did nothing new. What the hell is going on???? 9 hours of redundancy, a factory reset of my computer, being passed on, lied to, and given the runaround, what is going on?

Yes, I ran Norton's eraser app, factory reset, reset networks, disabled Microsofts firewall defender, antivirus setting, ran multiple trouble shooters from network, adapters, to software, sharing options, changed default programs, uninstall both Microsoft and goggle one at a time, looked at certificates, permissions, and I am out of solutions...

**************So, am I protected as of right now with my online account that states my subscription is "active?" even tjough I can't connect to the Norton Server? *************

Ok, this is getting riduclus and I am extremely frustrated. It has been a week and I need answers now.

Hi,

We have fixed the 'Cannot connect to Norton Server' issue in Norton Security 22.21.1.151. Could you please let us know if the fix works? Thank you.

Hi Mark,

I can understand your frustration but unfortunately the forum software automatically locks any threads after 30 days of inactivity.  I'll bump a forum Admin for you.

Hi Mark Padilla,

Based on your attached picture, it looks like Norton is installed.

Please try Right Clicking the Norton Icon in the system tray (yellow circle with check mark), selecting  "Open Norton"  (not Open My Norton).  This should Open Norton's Classic Interface.  Please see the following link and directions to sign-in.       https://community.norton.com/en/comment/8474261#comment-8474261
