Norton 360 appears disabled on MSCONFIG services

Hello,

I caught a fake flash virus around a month ago and I have managed to remove it, however it has left behind something that is a bit of a bother and slows down my startup.

I have no Norton 360 item on my MSCONFIG Startup tab. Is this normal?

Also on my MSCONFIG Services, it appears Norton 360 has been disabled on 19th December. I did not do this and when I go to check the box to enable and then press apply, it unchecks itself again?

However, on Services.msc, Norton 360 is showing as an Automatic service.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

As you have posted at Bleepingcomputer, you should not be asking for any other help here or anywhere else. Anything you do on your own could make it harder for the removalist to find a solution. Let the Removalist at Bleeping do their job.
