Issue abstract: Backup frequencies

Detailed description: I have been trying to get an explanation as to how often Norton will do an auto backup and what will trigger one. I have twice had an agent remote access my PC to adjust settings. Currently it has been 5 days since a backup has occoured, previous to this it was 23 days. I asked the agent for clarification and he was unable to provide an answer. Ultimately, I have no way of knowing if it is doing what it is meant to ie if it is just doing its thing or if it has failed again

What is the error message you are seeing?

Hello @Troy_Smith
as far as I’m aware:
Automatically sync = every 24 hours
as to what constitutes 24 hours?

  • 24 hours up time?
  • 24 hours clock time?

Users may manually invoke Sync
as to whether manual Sync resets 24 hours?

We’re hoping Norton publishes a Norton 360 v24 User Guide

Thanks BJM for taking the time with this. I have followed your tips and still see it indicating that the last back up was done 5 days ago.
TBH I was pretty happy when you could elect to backup to an external drive but that appears to be no longer as well.

Hello @Troy_Smith
are you reporting that manual sync does not sync?
may be time to Reset to Default &or Repair Norton &or clean reinstall Norton 360?
