Issue abstract: Norton 360 blocked all my vs2022 programs from start this morning that have been starting for over a year and are allowed in Smart Firewall program control.

Detailed description: Norton 360 blocked all my vs2022 programs from start this morning that have been starting for over a year and are allowed in Smart Firewall program control.
Now do I get my programs to start?

Product & version number: Norton 360; 25.1.9816 (build 25.1.9816.914); 250308-2; 1.0.90

OS details: Windows 11 Pro; version 24H2; OS build 26100.3194

What is the error message you are seeing? “we’re restricting incoming traffic on this network increasing your security”

These are released programs, .exe files, and now have nothing to do with Visual Studio. Its Norton is causing the problem

I wrote them on VS2022, complied them on VS2022 and run them on my computer. I could send you the cs files or .exe files
Not sure what your asking with" Norton LiveUpdate + Restart". I shutdown my computer each night

maybe, you have Fast Startup enabled? Restart bypasses Fast Startup…as you know.
have you tried Smart Firewall → Restore default settings?

are you always Public network?

Yes, it is my home network running a Netgear router.
I just tried Smart Firewall → Restore default settings and still have the problem. Program is still allow in in Smart Firewall program control

right click Norton 360 system tray button → Run LiveUpdate

try Security → LiveUpdate = just to eliminate version update as causal
