I have front and rear Garmin Mini 2 dash cams in my car that are paired with my iPhone SE 2nd generation through my Garmin Drive app, but I'm unable to view live video from them on my iPhone with Norton 360 installed. Only when I delete Norton 360 from my iPhone am I able to see live video from my dash cams. Are there any settings on my iPhone that I can adjust to permit Norton 360 to co-exist with the Garmin Drive app so I can see live video?
The Safe Web feature of iOS can have issues that crop up with individual apps. Did you send logs so Norton can address the issue with the Garmin app? That would help others that may run into the same issue.
Thanks for the response. Turning off the Safe Web feature on Norton 360 allowed my Garmin Mini 2 cam live videos to come up without any problem. No other setting adjustments/changes were necessary. This solution permitted my Norton 360 app to co-exist with my Garmin Drive app on my iPhone.
I would suggest turning off the Safe Web feature in the Security > Internet Security section of 360 and test.
If that resolves the issue, please send logs to Norton to help get a fix for this.
Please send logs to Norton to help diagnose your problem.
Start by opening iOS settings on your device and scroll down to the bottom where the apps are listed. Tap on the Norton 360 app and tap to Enable Debug Log.
Now use your device until it causes the issue you are having. In your case, access the dash cam video with Safe Web off. Then turn on Safe Web and try the dash cam again. If it is blocked continue with sending logs. Then open the 360 app and tap on the three bars at the top left, then tap Help. Tap on Send Error Report and fill in any information requested. In your submission, please include "forum 'your username' " in the Case ID section of the report. Also include a link to this thread.
If you do send logs, please let me know and I'll notify my contacts to look for them.
