Norton 360 Deluxe Screen Displays are all "chopped off"

Issue abstract: Norton 360 Deluxe screens don’t fully display

Detailed description: I noticed that after an update over the last week that NONE of the Norton screens fully display. The text on all of the screens all have very large font, therefore, much of the text on the screen is “cut off”.

This problem appeared this past week after Norton 360 prompted me to restart my computer to allow updates to be applied. Afterwards, all of the Norton screens, including Password Manager, appeared to be chopped or cut off. Because of this, much of the text on each of the Norton 360 Deluxe screens does not display.

I tried uninstalling the last 2 updates but that did not solve the problem. I also tried the Norton Repair option but that did not solve the problem either. I use Google Chrome and it is up to date. I also tried to reduce the font size but there is no response to this action.

@Vivian7500_Vicky_Wal Have you ran live update against your Norton install and gotten the newest version 25.7.10308.944? That release should contain a hot fix to correct the issue you are seeing. Please ensure you restart the computer after the install of the update whether it prompts you to or not.

Product & version number: 25.7.10308 (build 25.7.10308.944) UI v1.0.99
OS details: Windows 10 Pro 22H2 build 19045.6093

It seems that some people have applied a hotfix to Windows 11 and the problem has been fixed,
but it has not yet been resolved in my Win10 environment
As shown in the attached image, more than half of the popup dialog is cut off.
It is very frustrating because the contents cannot be read and the buttons are cut off
I created a topic, but it has been left pending for two days, so I decided to post it here.
I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no change

@user7073 Is there a reason why your Windows 10 install is not on build 19045.6159 ? That could be a part of the issue.

SA

Thank you for your reply.
I missed the update you mentioned because it was optional. I just updated to build 19045.6159, but the problem of the dialog box being cut off remains.
Other people say that the font size of the control panel has become too large and the dialog box is cut off, but in my environment, there are no problems with the appearance or other functions of the control panel.
The width of the popup dialog box has simply been reduced to less than half, so it may be a different problem from other people’s (it would be nice if you could expand it by pinching the frame like a folder, but it seems to be fixed).
There were no problems until about a week ago…

Check your scaling settings in Windows, maybe lower your scaling or DPI just a fudge will correct the issue until Norton has something in place that will look the same across the Windows spectrum.

I’ve tried changing the display resolution and DPI, deleting and reinstalling from safe mode, and various other things, but nothing has changed.

When I browse the web or open an app, a dialog box pops up (warning about dangerous sites or vulnerable drivers?), but the warning text and buttons are cut off, making it impossible to understand.

I’ve decided to consider switching to a different security software when my current subscription expires. Thank you for your advice.

Have this same problem ongoing for a while now, I have tried everything…scaling text is not an option (or a FIX)… nortons 360 was working fine, then it wasn’t. If they cant remedy this issue by the time my subscription is up (Christmas eve) I’ll be getting a different product for Christmas

Does everyone have the last hotfix release yet? According to my sources this was corrected but then, it wasn’t entirely. Differences in how Norton works with different hardware/drivers would appear to be the larger part of the issue from my perspective on the part of the Norton software.
