Wife is on W10 Pro.

She has FULL access to my PC, and get an ERROR 5 when trying to access her PC?

Setting Windows File Explorer on my W11 PC only sees HER PC, not mine?

I’ve tried disabling FireWall and A/V, makes no difference.

Flushed Cache’s and DNS even, no help.

Hello. Per the statement quoted above you installed one version of Norton on top of another. That should be the cause of your issue. Perform a “removal only” scenario on both machines for Norton. Pay close attention to step #5 and use advanced options. Remove your products and reboot. Once rebooted manually find and remove all folders still present that are related to Norton. Reboot again. Next, download and install your current Norton product by logging into your Norton account and getting it there. Lets see if that corrects your issues.

Ok, but will I have any ‘products’ left to D/L? Account page shows this, " 3 of 3 License(s) used"
and the worst part was I had to RESTORE my C: last week AFTER I installed Norton, but the back up was from before I installed it, so on the same PC I installed it twice.

Not sure what to do about that?

Meanwhile, I tried some other stuff, checking all settings, turned off and then on SMB1 support on both PC’s and have it partially working.

Wife’s PC can read/write to my PC, I can’t do it to her PC, Error 5, Permissions.

Neither of us can ‘see’ the USB Drive on the router, but can NET USE to it and read/write???

Unless there is a way (I see on my Account page I can ‘Remove License’) if this puts them back?

I sort of followed your directions to STOP the notice in the History every few seconds that my Network was attached to the same device.

‘Sort of’ as I used the REMOVE and REINSTALL… Prior to that I removed the 2 licensed for my PC. Once it was reinstalled I signed in with my Norton 360 account and it seemed OK. Verified on my Browser Norton Account page as well.

So I am sort of confused? Version of Norton 360 → 24.10.9535 (build 24.10.9535.880)
