Norton 360 desktop icon

I recently updated to 360 and installed utilities.  Since then the norton 360 icon always returns to the same place on the screen after rebooting.  It never stays where i put it.  The utilities icon stay put.

Any ideas anyone?

thanks

I've never "left clicked" on the desktop area and opened a context menu. Unless of course, if a user has the mouse buttons switched in settings that would be the case for a left mouse button subing for a right click.

Yep, I still need to maintain one space under my Norton desktop shortcut.

Thanks for a quick response.

Firstly it's a left mouse click.

Not withstanding that I have set my desktop to 'align icons to grid' several times and even after resetting it now the icon migrates to the position of 3 icons down to four in from the left, every time on restart.  My default position is 2 icons up from the bottom and seven in from the left.  It just WILL NOT stay there!

Hello MilesRight. On your desktop, right mouse click to pull up the context menu shown below. If you see "Auto arrange icons" checked uncheck it then select "Align icons to grid". All my machines are set this way, I do not have icons moving around unless I manually do so.
