Norton 360 disabling Twitter

Yesterday I downloaded Norton 360. Now I have problems accessing Twitter and when I do connect it will not update feeds. I have checked my acct. on my other two laptops and don't have an issue. The only thing that has changed is the Norton download. I have checked settings but not sure what I am looking for. I have also tried changing browsers from Firefox to IE but same result. If I try to access anything in Twitter it freezes up. I tried to run a restore but it was unsuccesful because it said the antivirus program was blocking. How can I check to see if it is Norton that is causing the issue? If I can't resolve I may have to cancel Norton and go back to my previous program. Thanks!

Hi uchTater

I have tried restarting and my previous virus program was uninstalled. It blocks me form anything Twitter related including the support page. Works fine on two other computers and worked fine minutes before Norton install. So far no other programs seem to be affected

Hi CouchTater

Firstly my apologies for getting your name incorrect.

Your response says the previous security product was uninstalled, can you clarify that you have run the removal tool?

Try clearing your browser history and restarting the computer

If you tell us what security software you previously had installed, we can direct you to the uninstaller.
