Norton 360 for windows 11 - No additional backup set can be created

Dear community,

My Norton 360 program running on windows 11 has been updated to the new version.
Under the new Version no additional backup set can be created, which was no issue in the previous version.
Was in contact with Norton Support Center: They confirmed that this is a know issue and will be solved by Dec 12, 2024 with the roll out of an updated version.
I have not seen any new version yet and the issue is still here.

Take a look at Norton Security 24.12.9694 for Windows is now available!

However it is still limited as you can not backup to a network drive which other threads suggest may be coming soon

v24.12.9694 has one working/sync backup set.
Manage is for that one working/sync backup set.
Restore is for other saved/previous backup sets.

Reset to Default brings user interface back to No backup created yet [here]

Norton Cloud Backup stores and protects important files and documents as a preventative measure against data loss due to hard drive failures, stolen devices, and even ransomware.

Norton 360 v24 Cloud Backup runs one working/synching backup set.

If you want to start over and create another one working/synching backup set.

opt → Reset to Default

Reset to Default …to clear My Backups and start over.

• Automatic backup of special files: In addition to common file types like picture, music, or video files, Norton helps detect and backup special file types:
  • Sensitive files: Detects sensitive information like addresses or bank account details and includes them in the backup.
  • Notes: Detects notes stored in your computer and includes them in the backup.
  • Contacts: Detects your saved contacts and includes them in the backup.
  • By default, Norton includes all the special file types in the backup. If you do not want Norton to detect special file types, turn off the applicable file types.
